Karrie is a fiercely passionate speech pathologist. Growing up her dad always told her "do what you love." Karrie is lucky enough to be able to say she truly loves her job! Karrie graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2000 with her undergraduate degree and from the Masters of Speech Language Pathology program at the University of Alberta in 2002. Karrie values ongoing education and has obtained post graduate education to become a Certified Orofacial Myologist (COM) and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Karrie also has a special interest in tethered oral tissues and has completed extensive training in this area. Karrie co-developed and teaches the Orofacial Rest Posture Program (ORPP) through the Functional Foundations Training Institute (FFTICanada) to speech language pathologists and dental professionals across the world. Karrie is the owner and therapist at Tip of the Tongue in Red Deer, Alberta. Providing clinical services, education and support to families across Alberta through a collaborative team approach.
