About
Hello! I’m Emily Eckart, a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist born and raised in Saskatoon. I work with both children and adults, offering support in speech development as well as myofunctional therapy to families in Saskatoon and North Battleford.
I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Disorders at Minot State University in 2017. For eight years, I worked in a private practice setting where I gained wide-ranging experience before opening my own independent practice in July 2025. I also provide contract services to schools and communities in and around North Battleford and throughout Saskatchewan, with a strong commitment to supporting local and underserved areas.
In 2020, I completed specialized training in orofacial myology at the Swallowing, Voice & Speech Rehab Clinic in Brampton, Ontario. Since then, I’ve continued to grow my knowledge through ongoing training and research related to the anatomy and function of the face, mouth, and airway to provide effective myofunctional therapy.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me tackling a house project with my husband, working on our dream home, or tending to my plant babies!
