Emilia del Pino is a licensed speech and language pathologist in New
York and New Jersey and has worked in the field for 30 years. She
received her Master’s Degree from Teachers College, Columbia
University in 1996. Emilia went on to complete her clinical fellowship
at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Kennedy Center.

While holding her SLP position, Emilia began training in oral
motor/feeding and speech therapy and was fortunate to be mentored by
Sara Rosenfeld Johnson and joined Sara R. Johnson’s Oral Motor
Institute and Talktools in 1997, working with a team of oral motor
feeding specialists and sensory integration occupational therapists.
She is a Level 4 TalkTools trained therapist.
In 2002, Emilia re-located to Syracuse, NY and established her private practice, CNY Speech Pathology. In 2014, Emilia went on to study
orofacial myology and serves on the Executive Board of the Board of Directors for the 24-26 term, furthering her contributions to the field.

Mrs. del Pino is professionally driven, and has published articles, mentors and has spoken on podcasts. Emilia del Pino provides consultation, education and training
seminars on the local and national level. She was a speakerat the APRAXIA KIDS National conference in 2024, presenting on Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders. She lectures to audiences including graduate students, certified speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, dentists, registered dental
hygienists, teachers and parents.
