Dr. Jane Shi is Visiting Professor of Northwest University in China, member of International Association of Orofacial Myology and World Federation of Orthodontics. Mentored by professor Robert M. Mason, certified in the United States, she became the first Chinese Certified Orofacial Myologist (COM®) and Qualified Orofacial Myologist (QOM®). She is committee member of Chinese Orthodontic Society, Chinese Speech Rehabilitation Association, Chinese Oral Rehabilitation Association, Beijing Orthodontic Association, and standing member of Beijing Pediatric Dental Association.
Dr. Shi published many papers and she was invited to be an editor or reviewer of professional journals of Chinese Medical Association. She published and translated several books on orofacial myofunctional therapy and clear aligners. She is a pioneer of orofacial myology and an expert with clear aligners in China. She has lectured extensively and her 2-3days course been very popular since 2016.
Dr. Shi has almost 30 years’ experience focused on pediatric interceptive orthodontic, orofacial myofunctional therapy, orthodontic treatment with invisible aligners and multidisciplinary treatment.
