Nicole Molinari-Tobon, BS, RDH, COM®, has over 25 years of experience in the dental field. She began her career as a certified dental assistant before earning her dental hygiene degree in 2000. Nicole practiced dental hygiene in a private pediatric-orthodontic practice for 23 years, developing a special connection with special needs populations. Her dedication to orofacial myology was inspired by her two young boys. She completed her initial training with the International Association of Orofacial Myology in 2019, becoming an IAOM Board Certified Orofacial Myologist in March 2024. Nicole is a co-founder and co-owner of Westchester Myofunctional Specialties. Nicole is committed to lifelong learning, earning a B.S. in Oral Health Promotion from O'Hehir University. She further expanded her skills by completing Craniosacral Therapy (CST) 1 through the Upledger Institute and is currently on track to becoming a certified Buteyko Breathing Educator. Nicole frequently gives lectures to different dental groups, including offices and study clubs, sharing her expertise in orofacial myology, oral health promotion, and related therapies. Her presentations are designed to educate dental professionals on the importance of orofacial myology, helping them integrate these concepts into their practices to improve patient care. She tailors her lectures to meet the needs of each group, focusing on the latest research and practical applications within dental settings. Nicole’s passion for overall health and wellness makes her proud to be part of interdisciplinary teams. She values collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care that addresses not just oral health, but the broader well-being of her patients.
