Nancy Knudson-Magar is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Licensed in Florida and Washington. She has been an IAOM Board Certified Orofacial Myologist since 2002. She served on the IAOM Board of Directors for 5 terms and was an examiner for the IAOM Board of Examiners from 2011 through 2023. She sold her private practice in Seattle WA, in January, 2024 after 22 years. She bought the practice in 2002 from Joe Zimmerman, one of the early members of the IAOM and past president. Nancy is now beginning a new adventure in Florida after moving in February, 2024. She now provides therapy in two locations. She provides therapy with Dr. Koval Orthodontics in Boca Raton on Monday and Wednesdays and provides therapy Tuesday/Thursday at Breathe and Blossom Pediatric Dentistry with Dr. Jennifer Sylvian at Breathe and Blossom Pediatric Dentistry in Fort Lauderdale. Magar Myofunctional and Speech Services focuses on ages 2 to adult and specializes in speech articulation, orofacial myofunctional disorders as well as motor/sensory feeding disorders. She also offers home visits to Palm Beach and Broward counties as well as virtual.
