I have been in dentistry since 1972. I am a registered Dental Hygienist with expanded functions since 1979, I've had the great fortune to have been solely practicing Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy since 2006, I started my post-graduate work in OMD (Orofacial Myfunctional Disorders) in 2004 and have trained with numerous experts in the field, (Zickerfoose, Moller, Green, Paskay, Benkert, and Coulson) for both beginning, advanced training. and internships. I became IAOM Certified in 2013. I have been dedicated to provide an integrated compassionate approach to educate and motivate clients to correct their Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders with the most current modalities of treatment. Attending and sometimes lecturing at 2-10 conferences per year in the field since 2004 has been uplifting and illuminating. It has helped me provide an exceptional arsenal of armamentarium I use to aid my clients. I have completed beginning and advanced training in Buteyko Breathing (2010) that has helped myself, my family, and my clients tremendously. I have achieved level 1 and 2 MNRI training in Oral Facial reflex integration and breathing., and have also trained with Lois Laynee, and Maxine Haller for reflex integration. I am a faculty member of AEI -the ALF Educational Institute- Providing education and mentoring for professionals in the field as well as to functional dentists and Osteopaths. I have been offering Tela-Therapy sessions since 2006, and found that it is very effective and convenient for my clients. Teaching and lecturing has been rewarding, but to see patients blossom and heal has made this the profession of my dreams.
