Cheryl Kaplan, CCC-SLP, is the owner/director of Speech Therapy Center, LLC, in Denville, New Jersey.
She has over 35 years experience working with pre-schoolers, children, adolescents and adults in the areas of:
apraxia, dysarthria, articulation, receptive/expressive language, auditory processing, and oro-myofunctional
disorders. Cheryl trained with Daniel Garliner in 1987 and has been practicing Myofunctional Therapy since
then.
She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA, New Jersey License in SpeechLanguage Pathology, Speech- Language Specialist Certificate, Special Education Certification and
Supervisory Certificate through the New Jersey Department of Education. She received her Certificate of
Orofacial Myology in Augut 2017. Cheryl has worked closely with orthodontists, dentists, ENT's and
pediatricians over the years. She continues to educate specialists and speech-language pathologists in the
areas of Orofacial myofunctional disorders.
