Hi! You can call me Ash. I am originally from Louisiana, but moved to Texas in 2022. I am the Owner/Manager of Perkins Therapy Group in Eunice, Louisiana, and I manage business operations remotely. I recently opened SOHO MYO, PLLC, and I am excited to have the opportunity to provide specialized Oral Motor, Feeding, Orofacial Myofunctional, and Speech Therapy services within the South Houston Texas Community.

​I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and I received a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 9 years, and I became an IAOM Board Certified Orofacial Myologist through the International Association of Orofacial Myology in 2021. From August 2021-May 2022, I was a Vermont Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (VT LEND) Speech-Language Pathology Fellow, which prepares leaders across the health and education professions to serve children with special health needs and their families. I am currently an Ed.D. Doctoral Student in Organizational Leadership through Rockhurst University.

I am a Texas state-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist licensed through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). I am also licensed through the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (LBESPA). In addition, I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
