Angie earned her Dental Hygiene degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 1999. She began practicing Orofacial Myology exclusively in 2012 and received her Certification from the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) in 2014. Angie is the owner of Oral Myofunctional Therapy of York (OMT of York).
As a Certified Orofacial Myologist, Angie provides caring, individualized therapy for patients of all ages with Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMD’s). She is passionate and enthusiastic about prevention and treatment of the causes of OMD’s rather than just treating the symptoms. Her expertise includes Sucking Habit Elimination, Tongue Thrust correction, Oral Rest Posture Therapy, Craniofacial growth and development and the recognition of tongue and lip ties and their influence on orofacial growth and function. She works in conjunction with, and is well respected by local Dentists and Orthodontists, Speech Pathologists, ENT’s, Lactation Consultants, and other skilled medical professionals.
